Paul Heyman has to give it to AJ Styles -- he's really good.
Heyman praised him in a video WWE put up on their YouTube page, which you can see above. He gives credit to Styles, saying that he was watching him before anyone else was supposed to watch him.
"If you aren't a fan of AJ Styles, you shouldn't be a fan of WWE" he said bluntly. "He's everything that Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart and Ric Flair were to their generation and updated it. He's evolved their styles to truly be the single most phenomenal in ring performer I've ever had the honor and pleasure of watching up close".
Of course, the talk soon shifted over to Brock Lesnar. citing how AJ Styles brought it to Lesnar like very few have.
"It's one thing to step into the ring and eat and entire division" he said. "It's another thing to step into the ring wtih AJ Styles and prove you can conquer those hopes, those dreams."
He cited the movie Rocky, saying how he lost, but won the respect of the girl he loved, much like how AJ Styles won the love of his fans every single night he preforms. He fought last night, but at the end he is with the champion Brock Lesnar.
