Heyman took to social media to formally nominate the ECW fans for the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2022.

Though ECW was acquired by WWE in 2001, the letters lived on thanks to ECW One Night Stand, which started as a reunion show for ECW and then became an annual WWE pay-per-view event, eventually renamed to Extreme Rules in 2009.

WWE also brought back ECW as a third brand in 2006 for a four-year run that was often criticized for not living up to the original billing.

If Heyman wants to get the ECW audience into the WWE Hall of Fame, Vince McMahon will have to give final approval.
