Paul Heyman has no allegiance to "promotional boundaries."
With so many names being released by WWE recently, many are bound to continue on and find success outside the parameters of WWE.
Recently, Malakai Black and Buddy Matthews went one-on-one at the most recent WrestleCade Supershow. This was a continuation of their rivalry in WWE. Their matches with one another helped propel Buddy to new heights at different points in his career and one person who is definitely a fan of both competitors is Paul Heyman.
Heyman booked both men strongly during his time as the creative head of Monday Night Raw and Buddy tweeted out a picture of himself in the ring with the former Aleister Black saying that Heyman would be proud. Paul Heyman responded by saying that he is indeed proud and inspired by Buddy and black and their ability to find a way to continue making themselves appear as Superstars outside of WWE.
Great talent will always find a way to showcase their abilities. I am, indeed, quite proud, and never let "promotional boundaries" limit that and those who inspire my admiration. https://t.co/QMx58ynPKj

Black is currently an AEW wrestler and Buddy Matthews has found some success in New Japan, even getting the opportunity to wrestle Kazuchika Okada.
