Paul Heyman Says Goldberg Is "Guaranteed A Wrestlemania Moment"

Bill Goldberg will get a WrestleMania moment, says Paul Heyman. Trouble is, it's going to come before the match starts.

Goldberg will be defending his WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 33 against Brock Lesnar. The two have been feuding since Goldberg's return in October and had a match at Survivor Series where Goldberg defeated Lesnar in 86 seconds. Paul Heyman wrote an article for Yahoo Sports saying Goldberg is finally getting his chance at a WrestleMania moment.

"But Goldberg did just that. His shocking victory over Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series set the stage for his one night return to become so much more, and now the bad ass former NFL star from Tulsa, Oklahoma, is guaranteed a WrestleMania moment before he even steps into the ring, as his entrance is sure to be one of the highlights of the entire show. And best of all for Goldberg, his wife and son get to see that explosion of emotion from the crowd for and towards this real life super hero. They get to feel it. They get to see all that love, and admiration, and idolization, and adulation and affirmation projected onto this man who could have never dreamed this to be possible," wrote Heyman.

The last time Lesnar and Goldberg faced at WrestleMania was in 2004, Goldberg was victorious but Heyman said that changes this time around. Heyman said Goldberg's WrestleMania moment ends once the bell rings.

"And that’s where the 'too good to be true' scenario for Goldberg will come to an end. For on the other side of the ring will be a champion-eating carnivore from whom no WrestleMania 'feel good' moment should be expected. Brock Lesnar is showing up at WrestleMania as the challenger for a title he has never won. A championship that signifies one WWE Superstar as the centerpiece of the flagship program in World Wrestling Entertainment, Monday Night RAW,"  wrote Heyman.

In the remainder of the article, Heyman does not waiver in his prediction but said Goldberg will put up "one hell of a fight" to defend his championship.
