Paul Heyman Asked About Brock Lesnar Retirement Rumors Before WrestleMania 42
At WrestleMania 42, Brock Lesnar seemingly retired, leaving his boots and gloves in the ring after losing to Oba Femi.
Lesnar embraced Paul Heyman before walking up the ramp to a “Thank you, Brock” chant.
Before WrestleMania 42, Heyman spoke to TMZ, who was asked about the rumors.
“What’s my vision? Another 15 years of dominance by Brock Lesnar,” said Heyman.
Asked about Brock retiring, Heyman said, “Why? Why are you pushing this whole retirement thing?”
The reporter said they were not, but Heyman said they were. The reporter said they read online that Lesnar was retiring.
“You actually read what is posted online and take it seriously? This is part of the great political divide in this country, isn’t it? That people actually take seriously irrelevant opinions. There’s only one relevant opinion, and it’s mine. Mine is that Brock Lesnar dominates the next 15 years,” stated Heyman.
Heyman further clarified that the interview happened two weeks ago.
I want to congratulate @TMZ for the magnificent exclusive news regarding my comments on @BrockLesnar's retirement.
Unfortunately, what's left out of their globally trending exclusive report is that the video was shot in NYC after my @fox5ny appearance two weeks ago…
