Paul Wight: Kane Is One Of The Most Brilliant People I’ve Ever Met

Paul Wight discusses the smartest wrestlers he has had the chance to work with, including Adam Copeland, Billy Gunn and Kane.

Wight has had a wrestling career spanning back to the 90s, competing in WCW, WWE and AEW throughout his storied career. Across those promotions, Wight has worked with many, many pro wrestlers.

While speaking to Sky Sports in a new interview, Paul Wight would be asked several quick fire questions, including what wrestler is the most intelligent he has worked with. While Wight first mentioned Adam Copeland and Billy Gunn, he would call Kane ‘one of the most brilliant people’ he has ever met.

“We’ve got some pretty smart guys. I would say Adam Copeland is really smart. Incredible memory. Adam doesn’t forget anything. He’s got a memory like a steel trap. Billy Gunn, too. Billy Gunn is, he’ll play like a big country rodeo cowboy, but believe me, he is very intelligent and very smart. Of course, my all-time favorite is probably Glenn Jacobs, Kane. He’s one of the most brilliant people I’ve ever met, so.”
