Penelope Ford Suffers UCL Tear, Out Indefinitely; Marina Shafir To Team With Megan Bayne
An injury has been announced to Penelope Ford.
Ford appeared on Dynamite, revealing she suffered a UCL tear and is out indefinitely. Marina Shafir stepped up to be Megan Bayne’s tag team partner in the AEW Women’s Tag Team Title tournament.
Ford was scheduled to team with Megan Bayne to face Anna Jay & Tay Melo in the first round.
Ford last wrestled on the October 22nd episode of AEW Dynamite, teaming with Bayne to face Jamie Hayter & Queen Aminata, Harley Cameron & Willow Nightingale, and Sisters Of Sin (Julia Hart & Skye Blue) in a four-way bout.
Ford was pinned in the match after getting hit with a headbutt-clothesline combo from Aminata and Hayter.
The injury occurred after Ford performed a moonsault during the match.
