Penta To Defend WWE Intercontinental Title In A Ladder Match WrestleMania 42
Penta will defend the WWE Intercontinental Championship in a ladder match at WrestleMania 42.
The announcement for the ladder match at WrestleMania was made by Penta after he successfully defended the IC Title against Kofi Kingston on Raw.
Penta challenged anyone who dared enter his kingdom to try and climb the ladder and take the title.
Later in the evening, Je’Von Evans, Rusev, Dragon Lee, and JD McDonagh were announced as competitors.

Penta has been the IC Champion since the March 2 episode of Raw when he defeated Dominik Mysterio to win the belt. He has made four successful title defenses. Before WrestleMania 42, he will defend the title against El Hijo del Vikingo on the April 11 episode of AAA on FOX Mexico.
Fightful Select first reported that the IC title would be defended in a ladder match at WrestleMania.
