The Nacion Lucha Libre promotion is set to present its first show on July 11th from Mexico City and on July 14th, the promotion will begin television on Imagen TV. According to The Cubs Fan, the aforementioned wrestlers listed in this article along with more AAA freelancers originally agreed to do the July 11th Nacion Lucha show because the promotion failed to alert them that it was a television taping. AAA's deal with TV Azteca prevents anyone on their programming to appear on a competing network, so when the TV deal was announced, Pentagon Jr., Fenix and those alike had to pull out the show.

Alberto El Patron is the figurehead of the promotion and during a recent interview, he expressed that he believes that Nacion Lucha Libre has the best roster in Mexico.
