Persephone reacts to losing out in the women’s Owen Hart tournament to Hazuki and targets the Triangle Of Madness.
On the June 6th edition of AEW Collision this past Saturday, Persephone would feature as part of the tournament, taking on Hazuki in the opening round. The CMLL name would come up short in the bout, with Hazuki advancing and Mercedes Mone attacking the pair after the bout. She has also had issues with the Triangle of Madness recently, and now seems to have turned her attention to the trio after her loss.
While speaking in a digital exclusive after AEW Collision, Persephone reacted to her loss in the tournament.
“I’m a god. I’m a god. I said I could wrestle blind. I said I could wrestle with my hands tied behind my back. Because I’m a god. But maybe I was wrong. Maybe I’m not a god. Maybe because I tried it and I failed. But maybe I went too fast. Maybe I pushed myself too hard. Maybe… I wasn’t ready, but I just, I was sick of it. I was tired of being at home week after week watching championship matches slip away, getting pulled out of important shows. I just couldn’t take it anymore. So I had to risk it, and I lost. I lost. No, this god isn’t dead yet. No, this god will never die, and I need to keep risking it. I will keep risking it until I get what I want. So we need to go back to the start. Triangle, Thekla, Julia, Skye, it’s not gonna be an eye for an eye. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. It’s an eye for all of your asses.”
"This god will never die."
