Elias was back in Philadelphia on last night's Raw and brought along another hit song. "You know how I know I'm in Philly? Because everyone's mom looks like that googly-eyed slob Gritty," sang Elias. Gritty is the beloved Philadelphia Flyers mascot who took the hockey and pop culture world by storm when he was introduced prior to the season. Following his performance, Gritty offered up a response on social media.

Last night wasn't the first time Elias took shots at Gritty. Back in October, Elias stated, "Gritty is not a mascot. He is a spitting image of every person in this city. A fat, ugly, googly-eyed slob." It's also not the first time Gritty responded by using Elias' real name.

Gritty is currently occupied until April as he cheers on the Philadelphia Flyers for the final month of the season. But with Flyers season coming to an end and WWE reportedly returning to Philadelphia in July for Extreme Rules, Gritty vs. Elias is the dream match just sitting on the table.
