Piper Niven returns in a big way.
In a backstage segment on the August 14 episode of WWE Raw, Chelsea Green and Adam Pearce were engaged in a conversation backstage about the future of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions. Green was advocating to keep the belts, despite the fact that her previous tag team partner, Sonya Deville, is now on the shelf due to injury.
Kayden Carter and Katana Chance then approached Green and Pearce and informed Green that they want a shot at the belts when she finds a new partner.
Green found a new partner only seconds later, as Piper Niven made her return to the red brand and attacked both Carter and Chance. Niven then took one of the Women's Tag Team Championship belts out of Green's hand and informed her that she now has a new partner.

Niven last wrestled for WWE during a live event on June 30, 2023, when she wrestled Becky Lynch in singles action. Niven was previously absent from the company from September 2022 to January 2023, when she made her return during the Women's Royal Rumble match.
