- In the video at the top of the page, Kofi Kingston and Randy Orton brawled backstage at the start of SmackDown.
- Daniel Bryan was not happy when he saw a video of Erick Rowan playing a role in one of the attacks on Roman Reigns and denied that he had any part of it.

- The Miz issued a challenge to Intercontinental champion Shinsuke Nakamura for Clash of Champions on September 15. Though there was no official answer, Nakamura did respond by attacking Miz.
- Buddy and Ali showed respect to each other following their King of the Ring matchup which Ali won.
