Powerhouse Hobbs is brimming with confidence after a big victory on AEW Collision.
The February 24th edition of AEW Collision was opened by a No Disqualification bout between Sammy Guevara and Powerhouse Hobbs. Both Chris Jericho and the Don Callis Family were banned from ringside, with the match becoming a war very quickly between the two young stars. In the end, Hobbs would score the victory over Guevara.
While speaking in a digital exclusive posted to AEW's social media platforms, Powerhouse Hobbs made it clear that he is going straight to the top.
"I went out and did what I said I was going to do. I was going to destroy Sammy Guevara. You see, the thing about me is I don't need anyone behind me. But Sammy, it looks like you may need Chris Jericho supporting you. Take a look at me. I'm 6'3", 269 pounds. I'm big, I'm black, I'm jacked, and I'm straight from the hood. I mean every single thing that I say. It's almost impossible. four years here at AEW for me, and I've done a lot and I still have way more to do. So you might as well go ahead, call NASA, pick up the phone, call the powers that be, and strap a rocket to my big ass back because I'm sick and tired. Because Powerhouse Hobbs is going straight to the top and I'm running through anyone by any means necessary, and anybody can get it."
