Powerhouse Hobbs and Ricky Starks braved the cold beaches of Cleveland at AEW Beach Break, standing outside with Tony Schiavone to issue challenges to Jay Lethal and Dante Martin.
Fans immediately took notice of Hobbs' wardrobe as he rocked overalls with a fur coat.
"That's what I heard. I broke (the internet)," said Hobbs when speaking to Jonathan Hood on Tuesday Wrestling Tuesday. "I was looking real OGish out there with that fur coat on, huh?"
When asked where he got the fur coat from, Hobbs wouldn't budge.
"I can't give all my secrets. You know that. You know how the games are, I can't tell you that," he said.
However, he did reveal that he acquired the coat just before the event and he's worn it every day since then.
"I got my custom overalls on, airbrushed. I had the FTWs [Overalls with FTW members on it] on. I had to represent my clique. The fur coat, I'm gonna give you a little secret, the man Tony Khan was like, 'Willie, go get yourself a fur coat.' So, that's what I had to do. Ever since last week when I wore it, I've been wearing it every day. Even out here in Cali. I wear it every day. I walk around my house with it. Kids are looking at me, they're trying to try it on. I wore it on the airplane, first class, back home. I'm a star. Why not," he said.
It remains to be seen if Hobbs shows up to the Wintrust Arena, site of Wednesday's AEW Dynamite, with the fur coat on.
