Prince Nana: Leslie Jones Is The Best, She Can Always Come To AEW And Do What She Does

Prince Nana talks about Ken Jeong and Leslie Jones attending AEW Revolution. 

AEW Revolution took place in the City of Angels, so the stars were out. Saturday Night Live alum Leslie Jones and Ken Jeong were among those in attendance at the Crypto.com Arena. Jones was shown getting into action during the Swerve Strickland and Ricochet match. Of course, Prince Nana was ringside for that match as he is during most of Strickland’s matches. 

During a recent interview with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Nana spoke about the celebrity interaction that evening and said that Ken Jeong is one of his biggest fans. 

“You know Ken Jeong, I love him to death. That’s one of my biggest, biggest fans. He knows how to swerve when he drives, and he swerves when he drives. So, for me to see it and see a whole wave of the crowd doing it is a blessing, especially if you know Prince Nana’s story. You know that that and all these other moments that have passed and that are on the way are great moments for Prince Nana. I’m very grateful,” he said. 

Nana also referenced that Nigel McGuinness said Leslie Jones was his mom on commentary. He said Nigel apologized for the blunder, but it’s okay because he loves him. However, Mama Nana may still be mad at Nigel for that. 

“Oh my God.  You know what? Leslie Jones, a sweetheart,” said Nana. “But the only thing, Nigel McGuinness. I love Nigel McGuinness. He’s one of my great friends, great, great, great friends in the wrestling business, but I had to go up to him and say, ‘Nigel, did you say that Leslie Jones looked like my mother? Huh?’ 

“He was like,  ‘I’m sorry, mate,’ and that was it,” he continued. “I love him to death. My mom is mad at him still, alright?” 

As for Jones’s energy throughout the evening, Nana said she’s always welcome at AEW to do what she does best. 

“She had the energy for the match that we needed. Listen, it’s Leslie Jones from Saturday Night Live. She can always come to AEW and do what she does. She’s the best,” he said.
