Private Party Want To Be The First African American Team To Win AEW Tag Team Titles

Oh my God, is that Private Party?

Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen) scored the biggest wins of their careers on the second episode of AEW Dynamite when they defeated The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) in the first round of the AEW Tag Team Title tournament. Though they didn't win the AEW Tag Team Titles, their goal remains the same three years later in AEW.

"I know this is going to sound very generic, but just cement our legacy. Also, I would really really really love to be the first African American Tag Team Champions," said Kassidy in an interview with MuscleManMalcolm.

"Full, both members," clarified Quen as they noted that Scorpio Sky is a former AEW Tag Team Champion, having held the titles with Frankie Kazarian.

Outside of winning tag team gold, Quen said he would like to "Definitely make a cameo on Heels" and "Short-term goal, I would like to sign some of the action figures of me," as future goals.

When asked if they would consider splitting up, Kassidy said, "Right now, tag team for life."

Quen added, "Nah, I'm cool with it. With teaming, there are more things you can do with multiple people rather than just having singles matches. When you blow it up, who do you tag?"

Private Party most recently picked up a victory over Camaro Jackson & SK Bishop on the June 13 episode of AEW Dark Elevation.
