Pro Wrestling Chaos have issued a statement following a fan medical incident at their Saturday show.

Medical incidents happen in the crowds of sporting events the world over and has shown time and again that the medical staff at said events are not just for the athletes on the field or in wrestling’s case, in the ring.

At Pro Wrestling Chaos’ November Pain event on November 8th, a fan in the crowd was taken ill, with the medical personnel as well as referees would take care of the woman at the behest of pausing the show.

“Just before our main event a member of the audience was taken ill. Referees Oscar Harding and Matt McCann were quick to recognise the situation and immediately ensured that the show paramedic reached this lady as quickly as possible. Their swift action was vital and deeply appreciated. Our ring announcer Jade Walford, then calmly informed the crowd of what was happening and alongside our incredible crew helped guide everyone from the room so that the woman could receive the care she needed in privacy. While the situation was being handled, without hesitation entire Chaos Roster stepped outside to hold an impromptu meet and greet with fans; turning an unexpected pause into a heartwarming moment that showed exactly what makes this community so special. And finally big thank you to both Nico Angelo and Leyton Buzzard who after this incident went back out to the ring and delivered an incredible main event to the standard that they’re both known for. We’re incredibly proud of the Crew and fans for how everyone responded with professionalism, care, and compassion. Most importantly, we’re happy to report that the woman is now home and will Make a full recovery. Thank you again to everyone who attended the show and demonstrated the true spirit of Pro Wrestling Chaos last night. The Pro Wrestling Chaos Team.”

In other medical news, AEW’s Queen Aminata recently announced that she was not cleared to compete. You can read more about that here.
