Powerhouse Hobbs: I Heard Mark Henry Is Working On A Comeback

Powerhouse Hobbs sends out a playful warning to Mark Henry.

Mark Henry and Powerhouse Hobbs have always talked glowingly about one another. As a veteran employed by AEW, Henry has had the opportunity to pass along knowledge to Hobbs and watch him grow as a performer.

Appearing on the Under The Ring Podcast, Hobbs once again praised Mark Henry and the relatability he finds when working with him.

"[Mark Henry] is a big man. He knows what I should do and what I shouldn't do, what can work and what will work. He knows the struggles that some of his face in this business, so he's definitely relatable. I mean, he can say things to me and know when I'm thinking before I'd even spit it out."

In response to the idea of him facing Henry, Hobbs threw out the idea that he heard Henry was working on a comeback but that maybe he wasn't ready to step into the ring with Powerhouse.

"I heard he's working on a comeback, but it's a different era. So, I don't know if Mark wants to get this two-piece," Hobbs said playfully.

Henry recently opened up about being open to the conversation of having another match. Read his comments here.

For now, Hobbs is entirely focused on defeating Miro at the United Center on the upcoming AEW All Out card. Check out the full card here.
