'Queen Of The Ring' Official Social Account Claims WWE Blocked Them From Running TV Ads On Raw And More

"Queen of the Ring," a biopic on the life and career of Mildred Burke, hit theaters in March 7. The movie had crossover promotion with AEW as it starred Kamille and Toni Storm. Naomi also had a role in the film.

The movie returned to select theaters in May and is available on-demand.

In promotion for the movie, the official account posted, "The movie the WWE doesn’t want you to see."

Asked why WWE wouldn't want fans to see it, the account replied, "you should ask them why they tried to block us from running TV ads during Raw (illegal), why they asked us to sponsor their events, we agreed to the financial deal then they pulled us out last minute..this is just a glimpse into the sabotaging behavior.. perhaps we will expand on the intel."

AEW had members of the cast in attendance and featured during AEW Revolution.
