R-Truth Shares A Photo Of The Injury That Has Kept Him Out Of In-Ring Action

R-Truth with a gruesome injury.

This past December former WWE United States Champion R-Truth shared an update via Twitter--alerting the public that he had undergone shoulder surgery. The injury to his shoulder reportedly occurred during a WWE live event match against Elias in October of 2017. Truth was away from the squared circle for four months until he made his return in the 2018 Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 34 in-which he was unsuccessful in winning.

Truth was soon sent over to SmackDown Live as a part of the 2018 WWE 'Superstar-Shake Up' and although he made appearances in backstage segments, he did not have a televised match up until this past Tuesday where he fell short to the man who will be challenging for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam, Samoa Joe.

Truth took to Instagram yesterday and shared a gruesome photo of the injury that put him on the shelf and noted in one of the photos that he's been gone for almost a year due to two shoulder surgeries and closed with letting the WWE Universe know that he is back.
