Raj Dhesi: There Is No 90-Day Non-Compete, WWE Gives You 90 Days Notice Your Contract Is Being Terminated

Raj Dhesi (Jinder Mahal) explains why there are no 90-day non-compete clauses in WWE.
When WWE releases a wrestler, they have to wait 90 days before they can sign with another promotion. This waiting period has been described as a non-compete clause.
Taking to social media, Raj explained how things actually work.
“There is no such thing as a 90-day non-compete clause, even when you get released. WWE is giving you 90 days’ notice that your contract is being terminated. You remain under contract and continue getting paid during that period. Once the 90 days are up, you’re free to work anywhere, and obviously, if your contract simply expires, you’re free to work anywhere immediately.”
