Chad Gable, for the last several months, has been working with Randy Orton as part of a tag team feud that even saw its way to WrestleMania 38. However, this is not the first time that Randy and Chad have worked together as it was actually Randy Orton Chad Gable pinned to win his first Smackdown Tag Team Championship alongside Jason Jordan, who would later be revealed to be the storyline son of Kurt Angle.
In addition, Randy Orton delivered an RKO to Chad Gable in order to win the Raw Tag Team Championship match at WrestleMania 38 Sunday. However, Randy Orton is also a big supporter of Chad Gable, according to Randy's wife.
On the latest Wives Of Wrestling podcast, the subject of Chad Gable came up and Jon Alba asked Randy Orton's wife, Kim, if he likes working with the former Olympian to which she replied that he overwhelmingly does.
“I don't know how Chad Gable wasn't Kurt angle's son… [Randy] loves him, he loves him,” she said.
Giovanna Angle further stated that her husband, Kurt Angle, is a huge fan of Chad Gable and regularly talks about how he needs to be pushed and why “Shorty G” might not have been the best move for Chad Gable’s career.

“He's a big mark for him. You should see the text messages he has about him,” said Giovanna. “He says, ‘You need to push them!’ The whole “Shorty” thing should have never even happened. He should have — Kurt always says, ‘Do not talk about height. Do not talk about age. Those are the two things you don't talk about. When you do that the fans will remember that, and that's what the main focus is.’ He should have been carrying, he should have taken the title, you can make a small guy into a giant guy if you build him up, look at Rey Mysterio. So Kurt is a big mark for him.”
