Raquel Rodriguez Says She's Cleared, Will Face Rhea Ripley For Women's World Title At WWE Payback

Raquel Rodriguez is cleared.

After Rhea Ripley made quick work of Candice LeRae on the August 21 episode of WWE Raw, Raquel Rodriguez limped down the ramp on a crutch. Rodriguez then surprised Ripley, threw the crutch, and began to brawl with her into the ring.

Ripley quickly rolled out of harm, prompting Rodriguez to grab a microphone, where she announced that she was cleared. Rodriguez also went on to state that she's already spoke with Adam Pearce, revealing that she will challenge Ripley for the Women's World Championship at the upcoming Payback premium live event.

This will be Rodriguez's first singles match on a premium live event since debuting on the main roster.

Rodriguez last competed on the July 17 episode of WWE Raw when she and Liv Morgan lost the Women's Tag Team Championships to Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green.
