Last week, Raw closed with General Manager Kurt Angle talking to an unknown person on the phone. Angle told the person to come to tonight's Raw and he was not ashamed of his secret which has been teased the last month. It has been announced Angle will be appearing in an interview on WWE Network following Raw.

Also last week, Angle made a number one contender's match for tonight which will feature Samoa Joe and Roman Reigns. Angle stated the winner will face Brock Lesnar at WWE SummerSlam in a WWE Universal Championship Match.

-Dean Ambrose comes to the ring wielding a chair. He calls the chair "Steely Dan" and notes the dents in the chair which are from his confrontation with The Miz last week. He calls out The Miz. Seth Rollins comes out instead.

There is some tension between the two wrestlers because of Ambrose's distrust of his former tag partner. Rollins asks Ambrose to stand by his side as he fights The Miz. Ambrose says he is not Rollins' brother anymore. Rollins apologizes for turning on The Shield and pleads his case to Ambrose, who is having none of it.

Rollins offers his back to be hit by the chair in Ambrose's hands. There is no chair shot as Ambrose throws the chair out of the ring. The Miz then comes out to the stage with a microphone, Bo Dallas, and Curtis Axel. The Miz says Dean Ambrose does not have what it takes to beat him and says he will always outsmart Ambrose. Dallas, Axel, and The Miz circle the ring with chairs. Ambrose and Rollins try to fight them off but they are overpowered.

The Miz hits Rollins with a Skull Crushing Finale on a chair.

-After the commercial, The Miz is backstage as he rushes to the parking lot, seemingly trying to leave the arena.

Non-Title Match: Bayley versus Alexa Bliss

Bliss is aggressive and focuses on Bayley's arm through the commercial break. Bayley makes a comeback hitting some offense by showing her arm hurts. There's a small confrontation between Bayley and Nia Jax, who is at ringside. Sasha Banks comes out to take Jax out with a dropkick. Bayley hits a Bayley-to-belly and pins the champion for the second time in two weeks. Banks and Bayley celebrate in the ring.

Winner: Bayley wins via pinfall after a Bayley-to-belly.

-Corey Graves gets up from the commentator's table after looking at his phone. Michael Cole notices but does not say anything to him.
