RAW Viewership Suffers Another Drop Heading Into No Mercy

Last night's episode of Monday Night RAW, the go-home show for Sunday's No Mercy PPV, drew 2.833 million viewers, according to ShowBuzz Daily. This is down from the 2.903 million viewers that watched last week's show and is the lowest number since June 12th episode. It should be noted that John Cena did not appear live, Brock Lesnar was only shown in a pre-taped interview, and Roman Reigns did not wrestle. The only match advertised ahead of time was a non-title women's bout between Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax, and the main event consisted of  Jason Jordan winning a Six Pack Challenge to become the #1 Contender to The Miz's Intercontinental Championship.

Last night's first hour drew 3.123 million viewers, the second hour dropped to 2.844 million viewers and the final hour drew 2.532 million, down almost 600,000 from the first hour.

Even with the poor number, RAW still managed to come in at #2 in total viewership for the night, behind only Monday Night Football. RAW was #4 in the 18-49 demographic, behind the NFL, SportsCenter and Love & Hip-Hop. The NFL game, Giants vs Lions, drew more than 12 million viewers last night.
