Raw Viewership Up This Week, But Suffers Big Third Hour Drop

The ratings for this weeks Raw is a bit of a mixed bag.

Showbuzz Daily reports that Raw scored 2.953 million viewers, which is up from the 2.688 million viewers from last week. Looking at how the hours did individually, however, tell a story. The first hour scored big, with 3,332 million viewers. But that number declined greatly as the show progressed, going from 2,969 viewers in the third hour to dropping nearly a whole million viewers in the third hour compared to the first, with only 2,570 million viewers.

WWE scored the third, fifth and sixth ranked cable shows of the night. Other shows that beat them was the NFL game pitting the Redskins vs. the Eagles, Sportscenter, and Love and Hip Hop Hollywood.

Raw last night featured the first build toward Survivor Series as the show ended with Shane McMahon ordering his Smackdown roster to lay out anyone and everyone who belonged to Raw. It culminated with a big brawl that left most of the Raw roster decimated, looking to recover. It'll have to be seen if they are holding off the Raw vs. Smackdown confrontation for tonight or for next week.

Hour ratings:

Hour 1: 3,332 million viewers

Hour 2: 2,969 million viewers

Hour 3: 2,570 million viewers
