Microman will compete on the March 28 episode of MLW Underground.
On the March 21 episode, Mister Saint Laurent targeted Real1 in an interview, as he claimed that he had been bullying Microman. Saint Laurent made it clear that he was sick of it, and he challenged Real1 to face Microman in a match. The bout was confirmed for the March 28 episode of MLW Underground.
Microman and Lince Dorado previously defeated Delirious and Abismo Negro on the February 28 episode of MLW Underground, while Real1 beat Mance Warner in a Street Fight on the February 14 episode.

During the March 14 episode of MLW Underground, Alex Kane stated that he would face Davey Boy Smith Jr. in two weeks. The match was not advertised during the March 21 episode of MLW Underground, but it was not officially postponed.
