Reby Hardy Says There Is A "Decision To Be Made" Concerning Matt Hardy's Future As An In-Ring Performer

Reby puts out some interesting information.

Earlier this month Matt Hardy sent out a tweet which noted that there is a move named "EVENT OMEGA" that he has executed a number of times throughout his career which is his signature leg-drop off the top rope. Matt has hit this move off of cages, ladders and other structures as well. The closing of Matt's tweet read that the move is likely the reason that his lower back and pelvis have began to fuse together.

In the weeks following Hardy's tweet, he began to send out a string of thank you posts to his social media pages which led to fans wondering if Matt was going to be hanging up his wrestling boots or not. A report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter earlier this month read that Hardy is currently undergoing rehabilitation for the wear and tear that his body has been through over the past 24-years of his career. Recently, Reby Hardy who is the wife of Matt joined Busted Open Radio with Dave LaGreca and WWE Hall Of Famer Mark Henry and after being asked how Matt has been doing, Reby replied by stating that Matt Hardy is in the middle of a transitional period in his career.

"Matt is good. You know Matt is right now going through a bit of a transitional period. He's not really sure what he's gonna be doing." Reby said. "His contract is up in March, which I'm not sure many people are aware of but there's sort of a decision to be made at this point as to whether or not he should continue his in-ring career or if he should pursue something different, which he would totally be up for and would be excited to do I feel like." She continued, "So, he's kind of giving it a go right now backstage. He's at SummerSlam. He's not on the card but he's there, and we're kind of going to see from here. It's sorta… it’s really a transitional time right now."

On a related note, Matt's brother Jeff Hardy has been on the receiving end of Randy Orton's beat-downs over the past month. Tonight on SmackDown Live the two former World Heavyweight Champions Jeff Hardy and Randy Orton will clash in the squared circle for the first-time since their matchup this past May at 'Backlash'.
