Referee Jeremy Marcus says he has joined NXT.
In a post on Instagram, Marcus announced that he is now part of the NXT officiating crew and stated that he is honored to be a part of the hard-working crew. In the post, he shared images in which he was pictured with other NXT referees, including Chris Sharpe. Marcus seemingly worked the NXT live event in Sanford, Florida, on March 25. It's unclear whether Marcus will immediately start working NXT television tapings, but he plugged NXT in his post.
Marcus previously worked for New Japan Pro-Wrestling, both for NJPW in Japan and the company's stateside STRONG brand. He has officiated a number of high-profile shows, including NJPW Battle in the Valley 2023. There, he officiated the main event title match between IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada and Hiroshi Tanahashi. Marcus also worked NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 on January 4.
