Renee Paquette Says Triple H Would Check On Jon Moxley Following Injury Suffered In NJPW

Though Jon Moxley (formerly Dean Ambrose in WWE), left the promotion in April 2019, his wife Renee Paquette (formerly Renee Young in WWE), remained with the promotion.

Moxley would sign with AEW while Paquette was still with WWE, but spouses working for opposite promotions is nothing new in the world of wrestling.

Speaking on Oral Sessions, Paquette discussed how Triple H would still check on Moxley even though he worked for the competition.

"Even when Jon left, there were times when Hunter would pull me aside because Jon was injured coming back from NJPW, and Hunter kept checking in to make sure he was okay and if we needed anything, they would have been able to help him in any capacity. It was nice to know the olive branch was still extended and it wasn't that heat-seeking thing that everyone thinks it is. We've all spent so much time together and nothing bad went down," said Paquette.

Moxley suffered a MRSA staph infection in August 2019 and had to undergo surgery as a result.

Paquette would leave WWE following SummerSlam 2020.
