On December 7th, the final episode of Hey! (EW) with RJ City would be uploaded to AEW’s YouTube channel, marking the end of a lengthy run of the show that featured interviews with AEW talent and backstage workers alike. In addition to the show, RJ features as part of Zero Hours and other pre-shows alongside Renee Paquette, who has seemingly snapped.
In the closing stages of the final episode of Hey! (EW) on Sunday, RJ would share the screen with several AEW names. First, Renee Paquette would finally lose her temper with RJ, attacking him and brutally kicking him while shouting at him to ‘shut the f**k up’. While RJ recovered on the floor, Tony Khan would also walk onto the set, telling RJ that ‘this is the reason’ you do not have a graphic. Finally, after RJ turned off his on air light and walked off the set, longtime guest requestee Mercedes Mone would appear, before walking back off the set to end the final episode of the show.
