Renee Young Doesn't Want To Know Spoilers On Commentary

Renee Young would rather not be spoiled ahead of time.

Appearing on Sports Media with Richard Deitsch, Young was asked about getting behind the scenes information to help her prepare on-camera.

"I prefer to be in the dark about stuff like that," said Young. "I prefer to have a natural reaction to things. I think for what my role is on commentary, I don't need to know that stuff. I think that's more of a Michael Cole spot that he would need to know that information. So far I've been kept in the dark to have a natural reaction to things. I prefer to work that way in general. I love the question mark. I like to be able to discover things and have fun moments."

Young stated that it's more Michael Cole's job as the lead announcer to know things before they are going to happen.

Young was promoted to the Raw announce team full-time on Sept. 10 after filling in for Jonathan Coachman. The announcement was met by praise from WWE superstars and fans.
