Renee Young Reveals How She Broke Her Ankle

Back in August, WWE interviewer extraordinaire Renee Young sent this Tweet to her followers:

Kyle O'Reilly Talks Roderick Strong Being His First Post-Injury Feud, 'He's A Guy That I Trust Fully'

We were all very concerned here at Fightful, because Renee Young is a precious, delicate beautiful flower and the thought of her in pain makes us incredibly sad.

There weren't a lot of updates on how Renee fractured her lower leg. Did she place a foot wrong while jogging? Was there a unfortunate run-in with a wayward bear trap? Did she step on a Lego? That always sucks. But no. Nothing.

Until now.

Because Renee Young let us in on the real reason via her Instagram and spoiler alert, it's Roman's fault.

Yes, just like everything wrong with the current iteration of the WWE, Roman Reigns is to blame.

If he didn't have The Superman Punch as one of his signature moves, Renee wouldn't have been trying it herself for their little photo-shoot.

Now, I suppose you might say that it's Renee's fault for attempt the move in non-supportive strappy heels, and you might have a point. Renee is a slave to fashion, but still.

When in doubt, blame Roman. It's kind of my thing.

Regardless of who is at fault (Roman), we're all glad that Renee appears to have made a full recovery, which you can tell from another recent instagram post:
