Report: AEW Double Or Nothing Estimated As High As 113,000 PPV Buys Worldwide; 71,000 PPV Buys US

An updated look at Double or Nothing's pay-per-view numbers.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reports that All Elite Wrestling's Double or Nothing is estimated at somewhere between 98,500 and 113,000 buys worldwide with the best estimate for US pay-per-view buys at around 71,000. It's reported to be a 50/50 split between those who purchased the event on television and those who purchased through a streaming service such as B/R Live.

Meltzer goes on to report that there is very little crossover between fans who purchased AEW Double or Nothing and fans who purchase WWE pay-per-view events. Granted, WWE pay-per-view buys are down due to the WWE Network -- A reported 15,700 fans bought WWE Money in the Bank on pay-per-view. Roughly 2.5% of those fans reportedly purchased AEW Double or Nothing. There is more crossover between potential AEW fans and IMPACT Wrestling fans, albeit with lower numbers. Meltzer reports that IMPACT Rebellion did 2,200 buys with 30.1% also purchasing AEW Double or Nothing.

Double or Nothing reportedly performed strong in New York, Chicago, Baltimore, Atlanta, and DC, and "absolutely killed it" in upstate New York.
