Report: AEW Talent Tested Before Entering Daily's Place

Much like WWE, AEW talent was tested before Wednesday's Dynamite.

Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet reports talent was tested by a team of physicians before entering Daily's Place, the site of AEW Dynamite. Satin clarifies that the test was to make sure performers were in good health and it was not a coronavirus test.

WWE issued similar testing to performers who entered the Performance Center for recent episodes of Raw and SmackDown. Jerry Lawler noted in an interview that talent had his or her temperature checked before entering the Performance Center.

Satin goes on to report that AEW talent could practice in the ring before the show, but only in waves. The same rule applied for catering, the promo area and other frequented spots. AEW did have performers gathered around ringside to act as the audience for matches.

As previously reported, Marko Stunt missed Dynamite as he was feeling under the weather.

As noted on Wednesday's Dynamite, AEW was very careful as to not say "next week" when promoting upcoming matches, instead announcers used the phrase "next Dynamite."
