Report: Alexa Bliss Suffered Multiple Concussions Within A Short Period Of Time

Not good news concerning Alexa Bliss.

The last time that former 5-time WWE Women's Champion Alexa Bliss wrestled was on October 19th at a WWE Live Event in Maine. It was reported that it was at that live event that Alexa Bliss suffered a concussion during a tag match against Nia Jax and RAW Women's Champion Ronda Rousey.

Report: AEW Dynasty Had Gate Of Over $400,000

After Bliss fell in defeat to Ronda Rousey at the 'Hell In A Cell' pay-per-view this past September, WWE sent out a notification which read that Alexa Bliss suffered an injury and she was later pulled from the Mixed Match Challenge tournament. Fast forward from that point to a few weeks ago and Alexa had to be pulled from her tag team match at WWE 'Evolution' where she was slated to team with Mickie James to face WWE Hall Of Famers Lita and Trish Stratus. Filling in for Bliss was Alicia Fox and Bliss did show face at 'Evolution' and got involved in the match for a few seconds but did not physically get touched.

In the past number of weeks on RAW coming out of 'Evolution' Alexa Bliss has transitioned to more of a managerial role. That is exampled by last week's edition of the red-brand exclusive show where she was named the overseer of RAW's women Survivor Series team and tomorrow night she will be choosing the five women that will compete in that match this forthcoming Sunday

Seeing as how Alexa has yet to be cleared, Dave Meltzer provided an update on her situation on the Wrestling Observer Radio. Meltzer stated that Bliss suffered an unknown number of concussions in a short period of time which is why WWE is being careful about bringing her back to compete in the ring.

As mentioned, Alexa Bliss is choosing the members of team RAW tomorrow night and to see the stars that are representing Team SmackDown's women's team at Survivor Series, head over to Fightful's "events" section.
