Report: AXS To Air Three Hour Wrestle Kingdom 12 Special On January 6

If you don't have New Japan World, there's good news for you if this report turns out to be accurate -- if you don't mind waiting a couple of days.

Dave Meltzer reported tonight on Wrestling Observer Radio that AXS TV will be airing a 3 hour version of Wrestle Kingdom 12 on January 6, two days after the show airs live.

It will be part of a day long marathon starting at 9 a.m. Pacific featuring the best matches from the later half of the year, featuring bouts from Long Beach as well as King of Pro Wrestling. Wrestle Kingdom 12 will air at 5 p.m. Pacific/8 p.m. Eastern.

The three hour block will feature matches from the last three hours of Wrestle Kingdom 12. However, the card will also be released as regular episode of New Japan World, with five one hour episodes set to air soon.

Wrestle Kingdom 12 will air live on New Japan World January 4. The two big matches have Kenny Omega battling Chris Jericho for the IWGP United States title and Kazuchika Okada vs. Tetsuya Naito in the main event for the IWGP Heavyweight championship.

We will have both live results as the show airs, and we'll also have a post-show podcast later on in the afternoon following the event.
