Report: Becky Lynch vs. Shayna Baszler "On The Books" For WWE WrestleMania 36

Becky Lynch will reportedly face Shayna Baszler at WrestleMania 36.

The report comes from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, who says the match is currently "on the books" for the event. WWE has not confirmed the bout.

Lynch is the current Raw Women's Champion, having successfully defended her title against Asuka at WWE Royal Rumble. Baszler and Lynch clashed at WWE Survivor Series in a triple threat match that also included Bayley. Baszler picked up the victory in the match, defeating Bayley. Lynch stood tall to close the show, laying out Baszler.

As for where that leaves Charlotte Flair, she is reportedly not scheduled to face current SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley "at this time." Charlotte won the 2020 Women's Royal Rumble, giving her a shot at the women's title of her choosing. Flair stated on Monday's WWE Raw that she has not made her decision on who she will face at WrestleMania 36. She was then confronted by Women's Tag Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane).

One match that was confirmed for WrestleMania 36 is the WWE Championship bout between champion Brock Lesnar and 2020 Men's Royal Rumble winner Drew McIntyre.
