The injury woes on the WWE women's roster continue.
Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks have both been sidelined recently, and it's also been revealed that WWE Smackdown Women's Champion Becky Lynch has been working hurt of late as well. While few details were revealed, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter stated this week that Lynch was working with a cracked jaw.
Lynch is experiencing her hottest run in the company, and her second title reign on the blue brand, that sees her getting some of the biggest reactions in WWE on a weekly basis. She's also embroiled in a feud with Charlotte Flair, defending the championship against her twice over the past week.
The 31-year old Lynch has been a little less active in the ring since the beginning of September than her rival in Charlotte Flair, wrestling only 12 matches to Flair's 20.
Becky Lynch is set to defend the Smackdown Women's Championship against Charlotte Flair at WWE Evolution on Saturday, October 28 from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York, in what is being promoted as the first main roster Last Woman Standing match in history. Fightful.com will have full, live coverage of the event, including a post-show immediately after the event concludes.
