Report: Billy Kidman Returns To Work For WWE Following Furlough

Billy Kidman is back to work for WWE.

After being furloughed like most producers back in April 2020, a new report from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer notes that Billy Kidman, whose real name is Pete Gruner, was brought back to work this past week.

Kidman first joined WWE in 2001 following the purchase of WCW. after several years as an active competitor which included a run as Cruiserweight Champion and a WWE Tag Team Championship run with Paul London, Kidman settled into a career as a producer and has worked as a producer for WWE for well over a decade.

Other producers have slowly been brought back on board including Pat Buck and Chris Parks. Other producers, such as longtime employees Gerald Brisco and Mike Rotunda were let go by the company following the furlough.
