Report: Brian Pillman Jr Departs AEW As Contract Expires

Brian Pillman Jr has reportedly left AEW.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that Brian Pillman Jr's contract with AEW has expired and he has left the company. He has been removed from the official roster page.

Fightful has reached out to Pillman Jr for comment and confirmation.

Pillman Jr hasn't wrestled for AEW since May 13 at AEW House Rules in Salem, Virginia, when he teamed with Brock Anderson to take on The Gunns (Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn).

He hasn't wrestled on AEW TV since the April 11 episode of AEW Dark against Matt Taven. Pillman made his AEW debut at AEW Double or Nothing 2019 as part of the Casino Battle Royale.

He most notably teamed with Griff Garrison as the Varsity Blondes. The duo were accompanied by Julia Hart before she joined House of Black.

Fightful will update fans on Pillman Jr's status as more is known.
