Report: BT Sport Acquires The Rights To Screen WWE In The U.K.

WWE is no longer exclusive to Sky Sports.

Sky Sports is no longer the home of WWE programming in the United Kingdom according to a report by 'The Telegraph'. BT Sport is set to announce their plans to screen WWE. Sky Sports has been the home to the sports-entertainment company's product for decades but BT Sport is next in line to air WWE overseas.

The Telegraph did reach out to BT Sport for a comment on the matter but BT Sport declined. It was noted within the report that BT Sport is constantly growing their audience and reaching new highs by way of the Champions League. 

Earlier this month, All Elite Wrestling agreed to a deal with ITV Box Office to air their Double Or Nothing pay-per-view on May 25th from Las Vegas, Nevada. ITV was also home to World Of Sport which wrapped up their weekly show towards the end of 2018 which was followed by a live event tour to kick off 2019.
