Cesaro is reportedly a free agent.

According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider, Cesaro's contract with WWE has expired and the two sides could not come to terms on a new contract.

With his contract expiring, there is no 90-day non-compete clause, meaning Cesaro is reportedly a free agent and wouldn't have to wait to sign with a promotion.

Cesaro last wrestled on the February 11 episode of WWE SmackDown, losing to Happy Corbin. He had been teaming with Ricochet for the majority of 2022.

In February 2021, it was reported that he had agreed to new deal with WWE, but terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Cesaro won the first-ever Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 30 and is a former five-time Raw Tag Team Champion, two-time SmackDown Tag Team Champion, and United States Champion.
