Per a new report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the story of Chris Kanyon will be told during the third season of Dark Side of the Ring. In the early 1990s, Kanyon was a WWE enhancement talent before moving over to WCW and competing under his real name and as Mortis.

During the WWE Invasion angle from 2001, Kanyon captured the WWE Tag Team Championship with Diamond Dallas Page and even competed against Kane and The Undertaker in a steel cage match at the 2001 SummerSlam event.

Later in his life, Kanyon came out as gay and sadly took his own life in 2010. Learn more about his life and the impact his career had on others at this link.
