Haynes reported in December that WWE had expressed interest in Corino and he was expected to travel to the WWE Performance Center for a tryout once he was a free agent.

WWE has not confirmed Corino signing with the promotion.

Colby is the son of Steve Corino, who currently works as a trainer and producer for NXT.

Colby faced Homicide in a Last Man Standing match on January 22 at Catalyst Wrestling Rock The Bell House. Homicide was victorious in the bout.
