Her last match to date took place ten days later at an NXT live event in Fort Pierce, Florida, as she challenged Roxanne Perez for the WWE NXT Women's Championship on Friday, January 20.

On social media, Cora Jade has been sharing photos of her days on the independent circuit as Elayna Black. The only remarks she made regarding her return occurred when she said she would return when she was ready. As of this writing, Jade has deactivated her Twitter account.
