Report: Daniel Bryan Hasn't Been Mentioned In Any Recent Talks Between WWE And NJPW

Daniel Bryan was part of the early discussions between WWE and New Japan Pro-Wrestling, that is no longer the case.

Last week, Dave Meltzer reported that WWE and New Japan Pro-Wrestling were in communication about a potential working relationship. Later, Mike Johnson added that Daniel Bryan was the main crux of the talks between both promotions.

A new update from Dave Meltzer in this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter, notes that Bryan Danielson was a talking point of the early conversation between two organizations but he has not been mentioned in any recent talks.

Additionally, it is being reported that this was not a Nick Khan idea at first, but he’s been the “point man” in the discussions and there are those who believe that he has recommended Vince McMahon pursue the relationship.
