Report: Dave Bautista Offered Role In 'Road House 2'

Batista has been offered a new acting role.

Following his final match at WrestleMania 35, Batista has set his professional goals soley on acting. The former WWE superstar has featured in some of the most popular franchises in cinema, such as Guardians Of The Galaxy and James Bond. Now, he may join another legendary movie franchise.

Deadline now reports that Batista has been offfered a role in the sequel to the Road House remake, Road House 2. However, negotiations with Amazon MGM Studios have yet to begin.

The movie will once again star Jake Gyllenhaal reprising his role as ex-UFC fighter Dalton. The remake of Road House was released in 2024 on Amazon Prime and also featured former UFC fighter Conor McGregor. The project is being directed by Guy Ritchie.
