Report: Dean Ambrose Scheduled To Appear At WWE Live Events And Television This Week

Dean Ambrose might be on his way out of WWE but for now, he's still under contract.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Ambrose is scheduled to be part of WWE live events this weekend and upcoming television tapings. Ambrose was involved in an angle with Nia Jax on last Monday's episode of Raw.

PWTorch first reported the news that Ambrose would be leaving WWE when his contract expires in April. WWE later confirmed Ambrose's decision not to renew his contract with the company. Ambrose's decision reportedly has to do with his unhappiness creatively and not with money. Ambrose reportedly turned down a five-year deal with a downside of over $1 million.

Many fans believe Ambrose leaving WWE is a work due to WWE commenting on the situation. Sean Waltman scoffed at that theory, stating, "Dean Ambrose is not a talent that you go ‘we wish you best of luck in your future endeavors’ to because you want him back at some point. You use him to do honors for other people on the way out but within reason."

WWE is scheduled to hold a live event tonight in Saskatoon. Fightful will have results following the event.
